Who is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the last prophet of Allah in a long line of prophets that includes Moses and Jesus. Born around 570 CE in Mecca, Arabia (now Saudi Arabia), Muhammad (PBUH) is a central figure in Islamic teachings. It is the our belief is that be from the people of Paradise one must believe and follow his teachings.

Early Life

Muhammad (PBUH) was born into the powerful Quraish tribe in Mecca. Orphaned at a young age, he was raised by his grandfather and later his uncle. He worked as a merchant and was known for his honesty and trustworthiness, earning the nickname "Al-Amin" (the trustworthy).

Revelations

At the age of 40, Muhammad (PBUH) began receiving divine revelations through the Angel Gabriel. These revelations, which continued over 23 years, were compiled into the Quran, the holy book of Islam. The message he received emphasized the oneness of God (Allah) and called for moral and social reforms.

The Hijra and Establishment of Islam

Facing persecution in Mecca, Muhammad and his followers migrated to Medina in 622 CE. This migration, known as the Hijra, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar. In Medina, Muhammad (PBUH) established a Muslim community and continued to spread the message of Islam.

Signs Of His (PBUH) Prophethood

Among the signs of his Prophethood was miraculous division of the moon, healing the sick and blind, Journey to Heaven and meeting with Allah, Water Flowing from His Fingers, Multiplication of Food through suplication and more. But the most amzing living miracle is the Quran.

Teachings and Legacy

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s teachings covered various aspects of life, including worship, morality, and social justice. He emphasized compassion, forgiveness, and the importance of community. He is also known for his sayings and actions (Sunnah), which serve as important texts for Muslims.

Notable Events

One of the notable events in Muhammad (PBUH)'s life is the Night Journey (Isra and Mi'raj), where he traveled from Mecca to Jerusalem and then ascended to the heavens. Another significant event is the conquest of Mecca, where he returned to the city and forgave his former persecutors.
