Taj al-Din al-Subki said about the book, "Proofs of Prophethood," along with the book "Branches of Faith," and the book "Virtues of al-Shafi'i," "I swear, none of them have a match."

The well-respected scholar Ibn Kathir said, "Proofs of Prophethood by Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi is among the definitive works written about the prophetic biography and characteristics."
