Narrated by Anas bin Malik: I heard Anas bin Malik describing the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "He was of medium height, not too tall nor too short."
It was narrated by Al-Bukhari in Sahih from Ibn Bukayr.
Another narration:
Narrated by Al-Bara' bin 'Azib: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had the most handsome face and the best character. He was neither very tall nor short.

Hadith Narrations about the Prophet Muhammad's Height
Narration 1
Abu Abdillah Al-Hafiz informed me that Abu Abdillah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us that Ahmad ibn Salamah, Ibrahim ibn Abi Talib, Muhammad ibn Ismail, and Abdullah ibn Muhammad said that Abu Kurayb narrated to them that Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated from Ibrahim ibn Yusuf. The hadith was reported by Muslim in Sahih from Abu Kurayb, and Al-Bukhari from Ahmad ibn Saeed from Ishaq ibn Mansur.
Narration 2
Abu Bakr ibn Furak reported to us, may Allah have mercy on him, that Abdullah ibn Ja'far Al-Asbahani informed us that Yunus ibn Habib said that Abu Dawud told us that Al-Mas'udi narrated from Uthman ibn Abdullah ibn Hurmuz from Nafi' ibn Jubayr from Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him, was neither tall nor short. He described him walking and said that he walked in a way that it seemed as if he was descending from a slope, I have never seen before or after him anyone like him, may peace and blessings be upon him.

Abu Al-Husayn ibn Al-Fadl informed us that Ibn Dursawayh narrated to us that Ya'qub ibn Sufyan said that Ibn Al-Asbahani narrated to us that Sharik ibn Abdullah narrated from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, who said that Ali ibn Abi Talib described the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, saying he was neither short nor tall.

Walking Style
Ali ibn Abi Talib was described as walking with a specific gait, resembling one descending from a hill.
Physical Features
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was described as of average height, with a proportionate body. His palms and feet were broad, and he had a protruding vein on his chest. His sweat was pearl-like.
Walking Style with the Companions
When walking with others, the Prophet's demeanor overshadowed them. He had wide palms and feet. When he walked, it seemed as though he was walking down a slope, with perspiration resembling pearls on his face.

Hadith Description of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
The narrator Al-Harith said: Abdullah ibn Salim narrated to me from Al-Zubaydi who said that Muhammad ibn Muslim informed me, from Sa'id ibn Al-Musayyib, that he heard Abu Huraira describing the Prophet, peace be upon him, saying:
```"He was a man of medium build, closer to being tall. In him, everything was proportionate - he used to turn completely towards people when speaking with them and turn completely away when moving away. I have never seen anyone before or after him like him."

باب ما جاء في جلوسه مع الفقراء والمساكين أهل الصفة - 44 . Chapter [1] Mentioning the diligent effort of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in obeying his Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, and his fear of Him, in a brief manner.
باب [١] ذكر اجتهاد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، في طاعة ربه، عز وجل، وخوفه منه، على طريق الاختصار - 45 . Chapter: What indicates that he was the most capable of people with the hand, and the most patient among them on hunger, along with what God honored him [1] with, of blessings in what he invoked from food.
باب ما يستدل به على أنه كان أجزى الناس باليد، وأصبرهم على الجوع، مع ما أكرمه الله [١] به من البركة فيما دعا فيه من الأطعمة - 46 . Chapter on what has come regarding the example of our Prophet, peace be upon him, and the example of the Prophets, peace be upon them, before him, and his announcement that he is the seal of the prophets; thus, it was as he informed.
باب ما جاء في مثل نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومثل الأنبياء عليهم السلام، قبله، وإخباره بأنه خاتم النبيين فكان كما أخبر - 47 . Chapter on what has been mentioned about his likeness, the likeness of his nation, their likeness, and the likeness of what he brought from guidance and explanation, and that his eyes, peace be upon him, were sleeping but his heart was awake.
باب ما جاء في مثله ومثل أمته ومثلهم ومثل ما جاء به من الهدى والبيان، وأن عينيه، صلى الله عليه وسلم، كانتا تنامان والقلب يقظان - 48 . The chapter on the description of the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him, in the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, and all other books, and the description of his nation.
باب صفة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، في التوراة والإنجيل والزبور وسائر الكتب، وصفة أمته - 49 . The chapter concerning what was found of the image of our Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him, associated with the images of Prophets before him in Syria (the Levant).
باب ما وجد من صورة نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، مقرونة بصورة الأنبياء قبله بالشام
