Chapter on Mentioning Reports about the Characteristics and Ethical Traits of the Prophet in a Concise Manner
[ (1) ] Witness the authenticity of what we narrated in the Hadith of Hind ibn Abi Hala. And Allah, the Exalted, said: "And indeed, you are of a great moral character." [ (2) ]
Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz reported to us, he said: Abu Al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Affan narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bishr Al-Abdi narrated to us, he said: Said ibn Abi Arooba narrated to us, he said: Qatada reported from Zurara ibn Abi Awfa, from Sa'd ibn Hisham, that he said to Aisha, "O mother of the believers, inform me [ (4) ] about the manners of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." She said, "Do you not recite the Quran?" He said, "Yes." She said, "Verily, the manners of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, were the Quran." Reported by Muslim in Sahih from Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shayba, from Muhammad ibn Bishr [ (5) ].
