Chapter: Chapter on the Prophet's saying, peace be upon him, after the departure of the factions: "Now we invade them and they do not invade us". And it was as he said.

Prophet Muhammad's Statement After the Departure of the Allied Forces

After the departure of the allied forces, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Now we shall go to attack them and they will not attack us." This is as he said.

Abu al-Husayn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan narrated to us in Baghdad, saying: Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn 'Umar ibn 'Ali ibn Harb al-Ta'i informed us, saying: 'Ali ibn Harb told us, saying: Abu Dawud al-Hafari informed us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us. And Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl informed us, saying: 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far ibn Durustawayh the grammarian narrated to us, saying: Abu Yusuf Ya'qub ibn Sufyan informed us, saying: Abu Nu'aim and Qubaysah told us, saying: Sufyan narrated from Abu Ishaq from Suleiman ibn Surad, who said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said on the day of the allied forces: "Now we shall go to attack them, and they will not attack us." This is reported by al-Bukhari in the Sahih from Abu Nu'aim.

Reported by Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz that Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, saying: Abu Zur'ah 'Abdur-Rahman ibn 'Amr ad-Dimashqi informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn Khalid al-Wahbi told us, saying: Isra'il narrated to us from Abu Ishaq from Suleiman ibn Surad, who said: The one who belongs to Hadith (H) and (S) and not found in (A).

بَابُ قَوْلَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ذَهَابِ الْأَحْزَابِ: الْآنَ نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا فَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ الطَّائِيُّ قَالَ:حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ (ح) .وَأَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دُرُسْتَوَيْهِ النَّحْوِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُوسُفَ: يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وقبيصة، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ: [الْآنَ] [ (١) ] نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا.رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ [ (٢) ] .أَخْبَرَنَا [ (٣) ] أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ:حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ: عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، قَالَ: قال[ (١) ] من (ح) و (ص) ، وليست في (أ) .[ (٢) ] صحيح البخاري (٥: ٤٨) .[ (٣) ] (ص) : «حَدَّثَنَا» .

The Departure of the Parties and the Promise of Victory

When the parties left the Prophet, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, he said, "Now, we will march against them, and they will not march against us, [we] are marching towards them." This hadith is narrated by Yahya ibn Adam from Israel as reported by Al-Bukhari in Al-Sahih.

When the people of the trench left the trench, as reported by Ibn Ishaq, the Messenger of Allah, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said, "Quraysh will not march against you after this year of yours, but you will march against them." Quraysh did not march against them after that, but he continued to march against them until Allah granted him victory over Mecca.
