Al-Jawni reported from Anas, saying: "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 'While I was sitting, Gabriel came and embraced me tightly. I stood up and went to a tree with leaves like the wings of birds. Gabriel sat in one and I sat in the other. The tree rose and covered the horizons, and as I turned I saw Gabriel shining brightly. I recognized his immense knowledge granted by Allah to me. A door from the heavens opened for me, and I saw the greatest light. Beneath a canopy of pearls and corals, I received divine inspiration.'"

Abu al-Husayn bin Bishran al-Adl informed us in Baghdad, saying: Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Amr bin al-Bakhtari and Ismail bin Muhammad al-Saffar, both narrated to us that Sa'dan bin Nasr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad bin Abdullah informed us on the authority of Ibn Awn that al-Qasim bin Muhammad informed us, on the authority of Aisha - may Allah be pleased with her - that she said: "Whoever claims that Muhammad saw his Lord, has indeed fabricated a tremendous lie about Allah, but he (the Prophet) saw Gabriel in his genuine form twice, spanning the distance between two horizons." This hadith is recorded by al-Bukhari in Sahih on the authority of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abi al-Thalj, from Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Ansari.
The Prophet's Vision in Surah Al-Najm
It was reported that the first time the Prophet saw Gabriel in his genuine form was during the revelation of Surah Al-Najm. Upon hearing this revelation, the Prophet and the believers prostrated, which led to the Quraysh retracting their opposition before eventually migrating again in what is known as the second hijrah, led by Ja'far bin Abi Talib, two years before the migration to Medina.

When the angel Gabriel descended, he asked the Prophet, "Muhammad, shall I take you to your Lord?" Describing the Prophet Muhammad's Night Journey
Then, he saw him a second time near the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary [in the image which he was created while he is the word of God, Most Exalted, "And he certainly saw him in another descent near the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary..."]
In it is the Garden of Refuge, when the Lote tree was shrouded with what shrouded it, his sight did not swerve, nor did it exceed. Certainly he saw from the great signs of his Lord.
It is probable that the chapter was revealed during the time that was famous among the people of battles, other than these verses. Then these verses were revealed during his seeing in another descent after the Ascension, so they were included in the chapter, and God knows best.

The Isra and Mi'raj: The Night Journey and Ascension of the Prophet
Introduction
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud narrated that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) undertook the Night Journey (Isra) and Ascension (Mi'raj), he reached the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary in the sixth heaven. It is the place to which everything that goes up ascends and from which everything that descends comes until it is held there. The Lote Tree was covered with what was covered, described as a "covering of gold." The Prophet was bestowed with the five daily prayers, the conclusion of Surah Al-Baqarah, and forgiveness for those who do not associate partners with Allah.

He then rode on an animal named Buraq, between a mule and a donkey, whose steps reached the farthest horizon. Accompanied by his companion, he journeyed until they reached the first heaven. Gabriel sought permission, and upon entry, they were welcomed by the inhabitants as they met Adam, who welcomed the Prophet as a righteous son and a blessed prophet.
The Second Heaven
Upon reaching the second heaven, Gabriel was recognized, and the Prophet was welcomed once again as they met Yahya and Isa (John and Jesus). They greeted him as a righteous brother and a blessed prophet.
The Third Heaven
As they arrived at the third heaven, Gabriel identified himself, and the Prophet was once again welcomed. They met Yusuf (Joseph), who was recognized as the Prophet's brother, and greeted with warmth.

In the name of the righteous brother and the righteous Prophet, we continued until we reached the fourth heaven. Gabriel sought permission and was asked: "Who is this?" He said, "Gabriel." As I passed by, he wept and was asked why. He responded: "O Lord, this is a youth whom You have sent after me, and more from his nation will enter Paradise than from mine."

The Prophet's Encounter with Jibril
The First Encounter at the House of Worship:
Upon the Prophet's ascension, the House of Worship was raised for him. He asked Jibril about it, who explained that it is visited daily by seventy thousand angels, who, once they exit, never return. Then, the Sidrat al-Muntaha was raised, with leaves like elephant ears and fruits like jars. Four rivers were seen, two hidden in paradise and two visible – the Nile and the Euphrates.
The Prophet's Prayer Obligations:
The Prophet was initially instructed to perform fifty prayers daily, but Moses advised him that his people could not bear this burden. After multiple interactions and negotiations, the daily prayers were reduced to five by Allah's mercy.

Then it was announced to him by a caller that he had fulfilled his duty and lightened the burden for his followers, increasing their good deeds tenfold. This narration is found in Sahih Muslim.
Additionally, it is narrated that Anas ibn Malik heard from Malik ibn Sa'sa'a who said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "I was brought a golden basin filled with wisdom and faith, and my chest was split open from the throat to the lower abdomen, then it was washed with Zamzam water and filled again with wisdom and faith." Moreover, it is reported that Sa'sa'a said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) informed them about the night of his Ascension (Isra and Mi'raj). So, I went back to my Lord and half of it was relieved. I then returned to Musa and informed him. Musa again advised to return to my Lord for the prayers were still many. Finally, after several returns, it was fixed at five prayers, but the reward remained the same."

It is mentioned that Ibn Hazm was Abu Bakr, Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm Al-Ansari Al-Bukhari Al-Madani, who was born during the time of the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him). He was instructed by the Prophet to be called Abu 'Abd al-Malik and was a knowledgeable and pious jurist. He was martyred at the Battle of Harrah at the age of fifty-three. He was a follower (Tabi'i) and is mentioned in the history books as a companion, although Az-Zuhri did not hear from him due to his early death.

In a celebrated incident, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) embarked on a miraculous journey, known as the Isra and Mi'raj. If it is reliable, as reported by Haggag ibn Minhal and Sharik ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Namir from Anas ibn Malik, it is possible that Angel Gabriel did the same to the Prophet when he saw him during another descent near the Sidrah al-Muntaha, as he did during the first one.

Thabit al-Banani prayed to be granted the ability to pray in his grave after death. The same happened again, but I saw nothing. This repeated until I saw a figure in my likeness and I followed it with my sight until I came out of the mosque and found a conveyance resembling a white animal, smaller than a mule but larger than a donkey, with a saddle similar to yours. I was invited to ride, and as I rode on it, the animal started sinking its hooves deep into the ground."

He replied, "Gabriel." He was asked, "Who is with you?" He said, "Muhammad. Has he been sent to?" He replied, "Yes." Then I saw Adam in the form in which Allah created him and his offspring. The souls of his believers were presented, and it was said, "A good soul and a good spirit, place them on the highest level." Then the souls of the wrongdoers were presented, and it was said, "An evil soul and an evil spirit, place them in prison."
Types of People in the Vision
Then there appeared a group resembling the feast of a banquet, but no one approached them. Again, another group appeared with roasted meat, and near them were some people eating from it. I asked Gabriel, "Who are these?" He replied, "They are from your nation, indulging in the forbidden and leaving what is lawful."

Thereafter, I saw a group with bellies like houses, and every time one of them stood up, he fell down immediately saying, "O Allah, do not let the Hour come." They were on the way of the family of Pharaoh. Then a rock came and crushed them, and I heard them supplicating to Allah. I asked, "Who are these?" Gabriel said, "They are from your nation, consuming usury like one driven by Satan into madness."
It then continued with other categories of people facing their consequences before Allah, including those unjustly consuming the wealth of orphans and women who would be hung by their breasts. Each group beseeched Allah in their own way.

Journey to the Heavens
One day, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) narrated an extraordinary journey known as the Isra and Mi'raj:
First Heaven
The Prophet saw people whose bodies were being torn apart and then mended. They were identified as the slanderers. Among them was the angel Jibril.
Second Heaven
In the second heaven, the Prophet met Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) and greeted him along with his followers.
Third Heaven
Prophet Muhammad encountered Prophets Yahya (John) and Isa (Jesus) in the third heaven, and exchanged greetings with them and their followers.
Fourth Heaven

As the Prophet (peace be upon him) ascended to the Heavens, he met Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Ibrahim was sitting by the Blessed House, dressed in the finest garments. The Prophet inquired about his identity from Angel Jibril.
The Two Garment-Clad Groups
Angel Jibril explained that the Prophet's nation has been split into two groups: one group adorned in white clothes resembling al-Qaratis (fine linen) and the other in rough garments. The Prophet then entered the Blessed House where one group prayed in white while the others in rough clothes.
The Magnificent House and the Angels' Prayer
The Prophet witnessed the Magnificent House and learned that seventy thousand angels visit it every day, never to return until the Day of Judgment. After praying in the Blessed House, the Prophet moved to the Lote Tree at the farthest border.
The Lote Tree and the Heaven
At the Lote Tree, the Prophet saw its vast leaves covering his nation. A river named al-Kawthar and another called the River of Mercy flowed from it. The Prophet bathed in the River of Mercy and sought forgiveness for his past and future sins. He was then shown the entrance to Paradise.
The Bounties of Paradise
The Prophet entered Paradise and was greeted by a maiden named Zayd ibn Haritha. There he saw rivers of pure water, milk whose taste never changes, wine for the drinkers' pleasure, and purified honey. Fruits in Paradise were described as large and plentiful. The Prophet then shared that Allah has prepared unimaginable bounties for the righteous servants, beyond human perception.
The Terror of Hellfire
The Prophet was then shown Hellfire, where he saw the wrath and anger of Allah. He witnessed the punishment awaiting those who disobey and turn away from the path of righteousness.

In this event, stones and iron were presented to me, which I consumed, and then my chest was washed and sealed. Then I was taken to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary and it was veiled from me. There was a distance of two bow lengths or closer between me and it. Upon each leaf, an angel from the Angels descended. It was ordained for me to offer fifty prayers daily. Rewards were also clarified to me: for every good deed you intend to do and do not act upon, a good deed is recorded for you; if you act upon it, ten good deeds are recorded. If you intend to commit a sin and do not do it, no sin is recorded for you; if you commit it, only one sin is recorded.
I was then directed to Moses who inquired about the commandment revealed to me. I informed him of the obligation of fifty prayers, but he advised me to request a reduction from Allah due to the inability of my followers to fulfill this obligation. I beseeched Allah for leniency on behalf of my followers, and He reduced the number to forty, then to thirty, and eventually to five without changing the reward. When I returned to Moses, he repeated his advice, and I continued to seek Allah's mercy until I felt too embarrassed.
The following morning in Makkah, I informed the people of the extraordinary events of the Night Journey and Ascension. Some, like Abu Jahl, mocked my words, finding it unbelievable that I claimed to have visited Jerusalem the previous night while being present among them. They doubted my account, even when a companion vouched for the truthfulness of my report by describing the details of a caravan that I had seen during my journey.

The man testified to the accuracy of Muhammad's words.
Prophet Muhammad's Night Journey
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri asked the Prophet, "Tell us about what you saw during the night of your ascension." The Prophet described an animal resembling a mule with donkey-like features, known as Al-Buraq, traditionally used by prophets. Muhammad rode it from the Haram Mosque to Al-Aqsa Mosque, initiating his miraculous ascension.

Every step taken reaches the farthest point of his sight. He walked with Gabriel, peace be upon him. They came across a people who would plant and harvest in a day, and every time they harvested, it returned as it was before. He asked: "O Gabriel, who are these?" Gabriel replied: "These are the migrants in the way of Allah. For them, every good deed is multiplied by seven hundred times, and whatever they spend is replaced and He is the Best of Providers."
Then they encountered a people who would lower their heads in humility to rocks. Every time they bowed, they returned as they were, without anything being taken away from that. He asked: "O Gabriel, who are these?" Gabriel replied: "These are those who procrastinate in their prayer."
Next, they came across a people, some with hearts like the hearts of cattle, straying like animals, fleeing from the scorching heat of Hellfire and its stones. He asked: "Who are these, O Gabriel?" Gabriel replied: "These are the ones who do not pay the Zakat of their wealth, and Allah does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves."
They then saw a people with cooked and unclean meat in a pot. They would eat the dirty meat and leave the cooked one. He asked: "O Gabriel, who are these?" Gabriel replied: "This is a man who leaves his lawful, good wife and stays with a vile woman until morning."
Finally, they passed by a path where any object that passed over a piece of wood would be instantly pierced. He said: "Allah says, 'Do not sit on every path threatening danger.'" They also saw a man gathering a considerable amount of wealth, unable to carry it all, yet desiring to increase it. He asked: "O Gabriel, what is this?" Gabriel replied: "This is a man from your nation burdened with a trust he cannot fulfill and he seeks to add to it."
Lastly, they saw people whose tongues and lips were being ripped with iron combs whenever they spoke, and despite being tormented, they did not desist. He asked: "O Gabriel, who are these?"

Then there were brought to him three vessels covered. The first contained water, and he was told to drink. He drank from it a little. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the seventh heaven and met Jibril. When asked for his identity, Jibril responded that he was Muhammad, whom Allah had sent. He was hailed by inhabitants of heaven as the beloved brother and successor. At the gate of paradise, he saw people with faces radiant and others dark, submerging themselves in rivers, cleansing their colors until they emerged resembling their companions. Jibril revealed that those with radiant faces were the followers of Prophet Ibrahim, while those with unchanged colors had mixed faith with injustice, signifying their impure souls."

Interpretation of a Sacred Journey
They did both righteous and evil deeds but then repented, so Allah turned to them in forgiveness. As for the first river, it was the mercy of Allah, and as for the second river, it was the blessings of Allah, and as for the third river, their Lord gave them pure drink. Then they arrived at the Lote-tree of the utmost boundary. It was said, "This is the Lote-tree to which Moses reached, no one from your community can approach it. Rivers of unpolluted water, milk which taste has not changed, rivers of wine delicious for the drinkers, and rivers of clarified honey flow from its roots. It is a tree that a rider could pass beneath its shade for a hundred years and not reach its end. The leaves of the tree are covering the creation and when the light of the Creator touches them, the angels also surround it. At that point, his Lord spoke to him, saying, "Ask whatever you wish." He replied, "You made Abraham Your chosen one, bestowed upon him a great kingdom, blessed Moses with direct speech, granted David a tremendous kingdom, made iron pliant for him, subjected the mountains to him, granted Solomon great kingdom, subjected the jinn, humans, demons, and winds to him, and provided him a dominion unparalleled by anyone after him. You taught Jesus the Torah and the Gospel, enabled him to give sight to the blind, cure the leper, and resurrect the dead with Your permission and protected him and his mother from the devils, leaving no way for them to harm. Then his Lord said, "I have made you My chosen one." It was written in the Torah that he was 'The Beloved of the Most Merciful'. You were sent as a universal bearer of good news and warning. I eased your heart, relieved you of your burden, elevated your mention, such that whenever I am mentioned, so are you. I made your community the best among people, in the middle and set you as the foremost and the last. I chose from your community individuals whose hearts I made sources of wisdom, made your community representative to mankind, ensured that they do not fall into degradation until they bear witness that you are My servant and messenger."

First Prophet
And I made you the first of the prophets in creation and the last one sent. I gave you seven of the repeated verses, which no prophet before you was given. I gave you the khawatim (seals) of Surah Al-Baqarah from a treasure beneath the Throne, which no prophet before you received. I made you the opener and the sealer."
Mercy to the World
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "My Lord favored me and sent me as a mercy to the worlds, a bearer of good news and a warner to all people. Fear was instilled in the hearts of my enemies from a month's journey away. The spoils of war were made lawful for me, which were not allowed to any before me. The whole earth was made a place of worship and purity for me. I was given the keys of eloquent speech and its conclusions, its comprehensive parts. My entire nation was shown to me, the followers and those to come after them.
Seeing the Unseen
I saw some people who wear shoes made of hair and others with flat faces, small eyes as if their eyes are lined with kohl, and what they will face in the future was made known to me. I was commanded to pray fifty times, but I went back to Moses."
The Prophet mentioned this, as narrated in authentic chains of transmission, except that he said at the end: "It was said to him, 'Be patient with five, for they will compensate you with five every five, each multiplied ten times.' Moses was stricter with them when he passed by them, and their best was when he returned to them."

Hadith on the Miracle of the Sun Stopping for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
In a narration by Isma'il ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi, it is reported that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) informed his people about the signs of his journey during the Night Journey, they asked when it would occur. He said it would be on a Wednesday. When the day arrived and the sun set, the Quraysh looked out but the Prophet did not come. He then prayed and the day was extended for him by an hour, and the sun did not set on anyone except the Prophet that day. This event is reminiscent of another miracle when Joshua ibn Nun was granted a longer day to finish his battle with the tyrants, fearing the arrival of Sabbath.
It is also mentioned that the sun stopped for the Prophet during the Battle of the Confederates. He feared that the sun would set before he could finish his battle, as fighting was prohibited on the Sabbath. He prayed, and the sun stood still until he concluded his campaign against the Confederates.

Hadith Narration
It has been narrated that some narrators added words to the Hadith of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, along with 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Yasar, from those who reported from Ibn 'Abbas, Suleiman or Salamah al-'Uqayli, from 'Amir al-Sha'bi, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, and Jawaybir from ad-Dahhak ibn Muzahim, saying: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was in the house of Umm Hani' lying down, having already prayed the last Isha prayer.

Abu 'Abdullah said: "This shaykh informed us of the Hadith, so I wrote down the text from an orally transmitted copy of it. He mentioned a long Hadith in which he mentioned the number of souls and angels, and other matters that do not contradict the capabilities of Allah Almighty if the narration is authentic. This was mentioned before the Hadith of Abu Harun al-'Abdi confirming the Isra and Mi'raj until the end, and success is from Allah.

It was narrated to us by Imam Abu 'Uthman Isma'il ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, who narrated from Abu Nu'aim Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Bazzaz, who narrated from Abu Hamid ibn Bilal, who narrated from Abu al-Azhar, who narrated from Jabir ibn Abi Hakim, saying: "I saw in my dream the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! There is a man from your Ummah known as Sufyan al-Thawri, is he okay?' The Prophet said: 'There is nothing wrong with him.' This was narrated from Abu Harun, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, on the night of the Isra, where you said, 'I saw in the sky and told him about it,' and he said to me, 'Yes.' So I said to him, 'O Messenger of Allah, there are people from your Ummah narrating strange things about you regarding the Isra,' and he replied: 'That is the narration of Qisas.'"

He swore that he would be burned in a fiery flame and his wife, the wood-carrier, would have a rope of twisted fiber around her neck. Not one of them converted to Islam until the news of the Islamic ruling became true and he would not break a similar oath."
باب ما رد أبو لهب على النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حين دعاهم إلى الإيمان وما أنزل الله تعالى فيه من القرآن وقطع بأنه يصلى نارا ذات لهب وامرأته حمالة الحطب في جيدها حبل من مسد فلم يسلم واحد منهما حتى صار الخبر بقضية الإسلام صدقا ولا يقطع بمثل - 29 . And before that, he had seen Gabriel, peace be upon him, in his real form while he was on the highest horizon.

باب (كيف فرضت الصلاة في الابتداء) - 57 . The chapter on the Prophet (God bless him and his family) marrying Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (may God be pleased with him), and Sawda bint Zama'ah after the death of Khadijah and before his migration to Madinah, and what he saw in his dream of Aisha's image (may God be pleased with her), that she is his wife.
باب تزوج النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بعائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه وبسودة بنت زمعة بعد وفاة خديجة وقبل أن يهاجر إلى المدينة وما أري في منامه من صورة عائشة [رضي الله عنها] [١] وأنها امرأته - 58 . The chapter of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, presenting himself to the tribes of the Arabs, and the harm that befell him during conveying the message of his Lord, Allah Almighty, until Allah honored him with the support from the people of Medina. And the signs that appeared from Allah Almighty in honoring His Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, with what he promised of his glorification and elevation.
باب عرض النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نفسه على قبائل العرب وما لحقه من الأذى في تبليغه رسالة ربه - عز وجل - إلى أن أكرم الله به الأنصار من أهل المدينة وما ظهر من الآيات لله عز وجل في إكرامه نبيه صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بما وعده من إعزازه وإ - 59 . (The Talk of Suwaid Bin Al-Samit)

(حديث إياس بن معاذ الأشهلي وحديث يوم بعاث) - 61 . The narration of Aban Ibn Abdullah Al-Bajali regarding the Prophet of God, may Peace be upon Him and his Family, presenting himself to the Arab tribes, and the story of Mafrooq Ibn Amr and his companions [1].
حديث أبان بن عبد الله البجلي في عرض رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نفسه على قبائل العرب وقصة مفروق بن عمرو [وأصحابه] [١] - 62 . The conversation between Saad bin Muadh and Saad bin Obada and what they heard from the herald in Mecca in support of them, Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him and His Family.
(حديث سعد بن معاذ وسعد بن عبادة وما سمع من الهاتف بمكة في نصرتهما رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) - 63 . Chapter on the mention of the first obstacle and what came regarding the pledge of allegiance from those present at the season from the Ansar (helpers) to the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his household, on Islam.
باب ذكر العقبة [الأولى] [١] وما جاء في بيعة من حضر الموسم من الأنصار رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم على الإسلام - 64 . Chapter on the Mention of the Second Obstacle [1] and what came in the pledge of those who attended the season from the Ansar (Helpers) to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, on Islam and that they would prevent him from what they prevent themselves and their wealth from.
باب ذكر العقبة الثانية [١] وما جاء في بيعة من حضر الموسم من الأنصار رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم على الإسلام وعلى أن يمنعوه مما يمنعون منه أنفسهم وأموالهم - 65 . Chapter: About those who migrated with the Prophet, may God bless him and his family, to Medina when he was shown his migration before the permission to leave was granted.
باب من هاجر من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إلى المدينة حين أريها دار هجرته قبل نزول الإذن له بالخروج - 66 . The chapter on the deceit of the polytheists towards the Messenger of Allah, Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, and Allah's protection of His messenger and informing him about that, until he migrated with Abu Bakr al-Siddiq - may Allah be pleased with him. باب مكر المشركين برسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وعصمة الله رسوله وإخباره إياه بذلك حتى خرج مع أبي بكر الصديق - رضي الله عنه مهاجرا [١]- - 67 . The Chapter of the Prophet's, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, departure with his companion Abu Bakr al-Siddiq - may Allah be pleased with him - to the cave and what appeared in this context from the traces.
باب خروج النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم مع صاحبه أبي بكر الصديق - رضي الله عنه - إلى الغار وما ظهر في ذلك من الآثار - 68 . The Chapter on the Pursuit of Suraqa bin Malik bin Ju'shum following the traces of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and the evident signs of prophethood that appeared through this.
باب اتباع سراقة بن مالك بن جعشم أثر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وما ظهر في ذلك من دلائل النبوة - 69 . The Chapter of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passing by a woman and her son, and what appeared in that from the signs of prophecy.
باب اجتياز رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بالمرأة وابنها، وما ظهر في ذلك من آثار النبوة - 70 . The chapter of crossing with his companion with a servant herding sheep and what appeared during that of prophetic signs.
باب اجتيازه مع صاحبه بعبد يرعى غنما وما ظهر عند ذلك من آثار النبوة - 71 . The chapter about who received the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him and his family and his companions, then the greeting of the Helpers towards him, and his entry and descent and the joy of the Muslims at his arrival, and the verses that appeared upon his arrival.
باب من استقبل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وصاحبه من أصحابه، ثم استقبال الأنصار إياه ودخوله ونزوله وفرح المسلمين بمجيئه والآيات التي ظهرت في نزوله - 72 . Chapter on mentioning the date of the Prophet's arrival in Medina, and how long he stayed in Mecca after the mission.
باب ذكر التاريخ لمقدم النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم المدينة وكم مكث بعد البعث بمكة - 73 . Chapter on God Almighty's saying, "And say, 'My Lord, cause me to come in with a firm incoming and to go out with a firm outgoing. And grant me from You a supporting Authority." 17:80 [1]
باب قول الله عز وجل وقل رب أدخلني مدخل صدق وأخرجني مخرج صدق واجعل لي من لدنك سلطانا نصيرا ١٧: ٨٠ [١] - 74 . The chapter on what was narrated about the departure of Suhayb ibn Sinan, may Allah be pleased with him, following the path of the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, to Medina and what appeared in that from the effects of prophecy.
باب ما روى في خروج صهيب بن سنان رضي الله عنه على أثر النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إلى المدينة وما ظهر في ذلك من آثار النبوة - 75 . Chapter: The first sermon preached by the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his family, when he arrived in Medina.
باب أول خطبة خطبها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حين قدم المدينة - 76 . Chapter on what came about Abdullah bin Salam may Allah be pleased with him entering upon the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, when he first arrived in Medina. They found in him the unlettered Prophet that was mentioned in their Torah and Gospel. He recognized that, accepted Islam, and so did all the fair among the Jews who met him.
باب ما جاء في دخول عبد الله بن سلام رضي الله عنه على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حين قدم المدينة ووجوده إياه الرسول النبي الأمي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل واعترافه بذلك وإسلامه وكذلك كل من أنصفه من اليهود الذين دخلوا عليه و - 77 . Chapter on What Came Regarding the Building of the Mosque [1] of the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him and His Family, in Madinah, and What Was Narrated from Talq bin Ali Al-Yamami Regarding This, Then on His Return with His People With the Rinse Water of the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him and His Family.
باب ما جاء في بناء مسجد [١] رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بالمدينة وما روى عن طلق بن علي اليمامي في ذلك ثم في رجوعه مع قومه بماء مضمضة النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم - 78 . The chapter on the mosque founded on righteousness and the excellence of praying therein.
باب المسجد الذي أسس على التقوى وفضل الصلاة فيه - 79 . Chapter on what the Chosen One (May God bless him and his family) reported when constructing his mosque and then his truthfulness appeared after his death. In it and in the likes of it, there is obvious evidence of the validity of his prophecy.
باب ما أخبر عنه المصطفى صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عند بناء مسجده ثم ظهر صدقه بعد وفاته وفيه وفي أمثاله دلالة ظاهرة على صحة نبوته - 80 . This translates into English as:
Chapter: Mentioning the pulpit that was made for the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and what appeared when it was set up, and the signs of prophethood when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, sat on it. This happened during the construction of the mosque in Madinah.
باب ذكر المنبر الذي اتخذ لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وما ظهر عند وضعه وجلوس النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من دلائل النبوة وكان ذلك عند بناء المسجد بمدة - 81 . "The section regarding the hardships the companions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, faced during the plague of Medina when they first arrived, and how God protected His Messenger, peace be upon him and his family, from it. Then the mentions about his prayer for their recovery and the removal of the plague from them to Al-Juhfa, and the acceptance of his supplication. Then his declaration of Medina as a sacred city, and his prayer for its people to be blessed."
باب ما لقي أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من وباء المدينة حين قدموها وعصمة الله رسوله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عنها ثم ما ورد في دعائه بتصحيحها لهم ونقل وبائها عنهم إلى الجحفة، واستجابة دعاءه، ثم تحريمه المدينة، ودعائه لأهلها بالبركة - 82 . Chapter on Turning the Qibla Towards the Kaaba
