Prophet Muhammad's Visit to Tabuk

During his pilgrimage, Prophet Muhammad stopped at Tabuk. He saw a man sitting and inquired about his well-being. The man said he had a story to tell, but requested that it not be repeated. The man recounted how the Prophet had stopped by a palm tree in Tabuk and declared it our qibla, praying towards it. A young boy at the time, the man mentioned how he had walked between the Prophet and the tree, causing a disruption in the prayer. The boy noted that he still feels the consequences of his actions to this day. (Reported in Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith number 707).
