Chapter: Chapter on what has been reported regarding his [Peace Be Upon Him] [1] prediction of a great battle between two great factions, with a tremendous amount of killing between them, and their claims being the same. He possibly meant, and God knows best, the claim to Islam. It happened as he foretold in the Battle of Siffin.

Chapter on the Prophecy of the Prophet's [peace be upon him] report on the fierce fighting between two great factions, each claiming to be calling for Islam

It has been reported that the Hour will not come until two great factions fight each other fiercely, both claiming the same call, the call of Islam. This was evident in the Battle of Siffin, as Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz and Abu Abdur-Rahman Muhammad Ibn Al-Husayn As-Sulami narrated from others. They said that Abu Al-Abbas Muhammad Ibn Ya'qub reported to them, who reported from Muhammad Ibn Khalid Ibn Khali from Bishr Ibn Shu'ayb from his father from Abi Az-Zinad from Al-A'raj from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah [peace be upon him] said: "The Hour will not be established until two great factions fight each other, claiming the same call."

Reported by Al-Bukhari in Sahih, through Abu Al-Yaman from Shu'ayb and they also extracted it from the Hadith of Hammam Ibn Munabbih from Abu Hurairah.

Also, Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Al-Hafiz reported to us, who was reported from Abu Muhammad Al-Muzani, who reported from Ali Ibn Muhammad Ibn Isa, who narrated from Abu Al-Yaman, who said: Shu'ayb reported from Az-Zuhri who narrated from Abu Salama Ibn Abdur Rahman that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [peace be upon him] said: "The Hour will not be established until two factions fight each other, claiming the same call."
